Now, it’s arguable that: 1) Alice Glass is somewhat of a gratuitously whirling dervish on stage, almost belligerently spewing out a fuck off attitude to the point of annoyance 2) The duo, with Ethan Kath, are starting to awkwardly appeal to the demographic of youngsters that intercept t-shirts intended for children (“I’m powered by puppy kisses!”) and revel in the irony of wearing such garments in North Brooklyn 3)They’ve been accused of pilfering quite a lot from other artists in the 8 bit genre. But, eff it. Crystal Castles’ music fucking rocks.
Incidentally, this timesculpture advert for Toshiba, with Air War as the soundtrack makes me want to punch myself in the face it’s so awesome.
